Vintage jewelry is a hot fashion trend, but some designs stand out from others in the jewelry box. Work made from the 1940s to the ’60s by such fashion houses as Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Givency, Christian Dior and Balenciaga caught the eye of Denver retailer Dan Sharp when he was shopping in Europe. He’s now featuring the items in his Cherry Creek North boutique. Made from sapphires and crystals, pearls and carved ivory, the pieces range from $200 to $5,000. Sharp is having a sale June 11-13 to benefit Beacon Youth and Family Center. Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. each day; 218 Steele St; 303-333-6666.
