BILLINGS, Mont.—Sentencing in a drug case against former Carbon County Attorney Robert Eddleman has been postponed to allow time to resolve any defense objections to the pre-sentencing report.
Eddleman and co-defendant Terri Jabs Kurth pleaded guilty in March to hosting parties in Billings and Red Lodge over a period of four years where they and their guests used cocaine.
In plea agreements, both agreed to plead to a single count of maintaining a drug-involved premises. That carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, a $500,000 fine and three years supervised release.
Kurth, 43, has been allowed to remain free. Eddleman, 51, is being held at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.
Sentencing for both had been scheduled for June 17 but was delayed until July 16.
