Denver- based Whiting Petroleum Corp. said it received $107.3 million in a participation agreement with a closely held company.
The company, which it didn’t name, received 50 percent of Whiting’s working interest and net revenue interest in the first and second wells planned for units located mostly in the western portion of the Sanish field in Mountrail County, N.D., Whiting said.
