A young man found early this morning in an Aurora bar suffering from gun wounds taken to a local hospital where he died, police said.
Police are investigating the unidentified man’s death as a homicide, police said in a media release.
At about 1:30 a.m. police were called to the La Cabana Bar, 1130 Yosemite St., and when officers arrived they found a man in his early 20s “who had been shot,” police said.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds, police said.
Police did not release a motive in the fatal shooting, which remains under investigation.
The victim will be identified after relatives are notified of his death.
