The Environmental Protection Agency has funneled more than $25 million in federal stimulus funds to Colorado’s Clean Water State Revolving Fund for use in updating aging water infrastructure and protecting the environment.

More of this money is on the way.

“We are working with the state so they can develop a list of green-infrastructure projects to be funded,” said fund coordinator Brian Friel. “Once they have this list, we’ll get additional money, a little more than $6 million.”
