BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder police say a father and son found the body of a man in a creek near the University of Colorado.
Police say the pair was walking back from a football camp when they saw the deceased man, fully clothed and wearing tennis shoes. He was identified Saturday afternoon as 52-year-old Michael Thomas Reagan of Longmont.
The father and son say they followed the body as it floated down the creek until they found two people to help them pull Reagan from the Boulder Creek Path on Friday afternoon.
Police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley says there was trauma on Reagan’s body but it’s unclear whether it was because of rocks in the creek.
