RAPID CITY, S.D.—One of three people set to stand trial Monday on charges of selling cocaine on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation has acknowledged her role—the sixth person charged in the case to do so.
Alvina White Bull pleaded guilty in Rapid City to a federal charge of conspiracy to distribute cocaine.
Lyle Wilson and Brandon Ecoffey are scheduled to stand trial Monday in Rapid City and have pleaded not guilty to multiple counts, including conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana.
Five other people pleaded guilty and were sentenced to prison. They and White Bull signed a statement indicating they and others brought at least 11 pounds of cocaine from Denver suppliers for distribution throughout the Pine Ridge area between 2002 and 2008.
