Jurors in the upcoming trial of an Aurora man accused in the 2005 disappearance of his daughter will see KMGH-TV’s interview of the man and his girlfriend.
Judge Valeria Spencer decided during a hearing Tuesday that the jury should view most of the Dec. 1, 2005, interview by reporter Tony Kovaleski. He talked to Thompson and Shely Lowe after the disappearance of Thomp son’s daughter Aarone, who’s presumed dead.
Aarone would have been 6 when she was reported missing.
Thompson and Lowe, who died in May 2006 from heart problems, denied having anything to do with Aarone’s disappearance.
Thompson was indicted in 2007 on 60 counts, including fatal child abuse, in the girl’s disappearance. His trial is set to start Aug. 3.
