An RTD bus crashed into the side of an automobile that turned in front of it this afternoon in northeast Denver, sending seven people to the hospital, according to the agency.
The bus, running route 43, was traveling eastbound on Martin Luther King Boulevard around 4:45 p.m., when an automobile traveling northbound on Kearney Street pulled in front of it.
The driver of the automobile and six others were injured. None of the injuries was believed to be life-threatening. It was not immediately clear whether the injured were from the car or the bus or both.
Denver police cited the driver of the car for failing to yield the right-of-way.
