BOULDER, Colo.—A lawsuit over one woman’s Easter decorations has been delayed.

Carol Burdick was evicted from her Boulder apartment this spring after refusing to take down her Easter decorations, which included a pyramid of Peeps marshmallow candies.

Burdick is suing the real estate company that evicted her, and a jury trial was scheduled to begin Wednesday. However, a Boulder County judge granted an indefinite extension to the company on Tuesday. A new trial date hasn’t been scheduled.

The company says Burdick was evicted for not paying rent, not because she left the decorations on her door 17 days past the holiday.
