COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A pipe bomb found in a ditch in Colorado Springs Saturday has been safely disposed of by authorities.
The bomb was found in a drainage ditch midmorning by a man working in his yard.
Police Sgt. Steve Biscaro says police found a cylinder wrapped in electrical tape with wires attached. Police bomb experts safely disposed of the bomb, with an investigation pending. No arrests have been announced.
