COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Affiliated Computer Services is expanding its operations in Colorado by adding 600 jobs at a new facility in Colorado Springs.
The Texas-based company made the announcement Monday. Affiliated Computer Services, a Fortune 500 company, plans to build a $3 million, 34,000-square-foot customer-care center in Colorado Springs.
The Colorado Springs Regional Economic Development Corp. says this is the eighth announcement by a company planning to expand in the area this year and the largest since 2006.
The company says it will start hiring immediately and begin training in July.
Affiliated Computer Services has about 74,000 employees worldwide.
