Adams County deputies have arrested a 43-year-old Seattle man for performing sexual acts online for a partner he believed was an underage girl.
Patrick Michael Loomis, Jr., allegedly had several Internet conversations with investigators from the sheriff’s department who were posing as an underage female.
After performing the sexual acts online, he reportedly flew from his home for a sexual liaison in Colorado, sheriff’s investigators said.
Once he landed, he took a cab to a residence where the liaison was to take place. He was arrested at the home on Thursday.
Loomis booked into the Adams County Detention Facility and charged with two counts of Internet exploitation of a child. He posted a $10,000 bond on Friday.
He has reportedly since returned to the Seattle area where he resides, said Sgt. Candi Baker, spokeswoman for the sheriff’s department.
