Getting your player ready...
DENVER—Pitcher Dan Haren and outfielder Justin Upton will represent the Arizona Diamondbacks at this year’s All-Star game.
The picks were announced Sunday as the Diamondbacks got ready to play the Colorado Rockies in Denver.
It’s the third straight year Haren has earned a spot on an All-Star roster. The 28-year-old started for the American League in 2007 while with Oakland and worked two innings last year for the National League while a member of the Diamondbacks.
It will be the first All-Star appearance for Upton. The 21-year-old is hitting .301 with 14 home runs and 45 RBIS.
He was not in the starting lineup on Sunday.
