Aurora police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot dead in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Billings Street.
Police found the body after a caller reported an assault with a gun shortly before 11:30 a.m.

Major Crimes Unit/Homicide detectives are working with the Crime Scene Investigation Unit to collect evidence, interview witnesses and develop leads in the case.
