GREELEY, Colo.—Prosecutors say a University of Northern Colorado professor secretly videotaped young men using a toilet and shower in his home.
The Weld County district attorney’s office filed charges Tuesday against 63-year-old Vance Fulkerson, a theater professor.
Police say Fulkerson told them he initially placed the camera in the bathroom to keep track of his aging parents, then began selling tapes of paid models using the bathroom to help pay $60,000 in medical bills.
He faces charges of sexual exploitation of a child, unlawful sexual contact and marijuana possession. He is free on $5,000 bond.
The Greeley-based university says Fulkerson is on paid leave while it conducts its own investigation.
No phone listing could be found for Fulkerson. It’s not clear if he has a lawyer.
