A 25-year-old Aurora man is suspected of using a gun to terrorize a woman in a LoDo bar’s restroom before kidnapping and robbing two women at gunpoint less than three hours later.

The incidents happened Sunday night and early Monday morning, according to Denver police reports and court documents.

Adrian Alamillo-Gonzales is being held at the Denver Jail in lieu of $350,000 bail on suspicion of aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated robbery, menacing and kidnapping.

He is accused of forcing a woman at gunpoint into a stall in the ladies’ room of a bar in the 1900 block of Market Street at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday and threatening her, according to an affidavit.

Alamillo-Gonzales allegedly told the victim, who worked at the bar, that he was going to shoot her before telling her to take her pants off.

The woman used her cellphone to call for help as she wrestled off her attacker. She was able to unlock the stall door and raced into the bar.

Employees threw her attacker out of the bar before the shocked and frightened victim was able to tell them what happened.

At about 12:15 a.m. Monday in the 4800 block of West Kentucky Avenue, Alamillo-Gonzales jumped into a car with two women in it and pulled a gun on them, according to a police report.

They drove to West Ohio Avenue and Wolff Street, where he robbed one woman of her wallet and got out of the car, the report said.

Denver police in the area spotted Alamillo-Gonzales on foot and he “dropped the firearm” and ran, the report said. Police caught him a short time later and arrested him.

A Denver detective working the second incident arranged for the victim from the bar to look at a photo lineup, the affidavit said, and she picked out Alamillo-Gonzales as her assailant.
