• EDITOR’S NOTE: Rose Medical Center now says that patient Crosby Powell, who tested positive for hepatitis C connected to surgical technician Kristen Diane Parker, was not spoken to by an attorney during a meeting with hospital officials, as Powell had said in a story that appeared on Page 1A Friday. A Rose spokeswoman, who last Thursday had said she could not comment on anything specifically related to Powell, said Monday that the person who joined the meeting by telephone was a doctor who specializes in infection prevention.
• Because of a reporting error, a story on Page 1B Tuesday contained incorrect figures about the increase in enrollment in Medicaid. The story should have said that there was an average year- over-year increase in enrollment of 11.4 percent from fiscal year 2007-08 to 2008-09. The story also should have said that enrollment in June 2009 was 14 percent higher than June 2008.
• Because of a designer’s error, an information box on Page 4B Tuesday incorrectly described the amount of money Colorado spends on K-12 education. It is $34.35 out of every $1,000 of personal income.
