The original “It Girl,” Clara Bow was shunned by 1920s Hollywood society for her bohemian ways and her notorious bedhopping. But her box office appeal was unquestionable: In 1927, she was Paramount’s biggest star. She’d be 104 today, and we’d mix her a Flapper cocktail.

Ingredients
1 ounce rum
1 ounce dry vermouth
1 dash Angostura bitters
1/4 teaspoon sugar
Directions
Stir together all ingredients until sugar dissolves. Serve garnished with maraschino cherry and orange twist.
