A huge cafe chain from Taiwan opened its first Colorado location on Friday, marking its 100th U.S. store. 85°C Bakery Cafe is known for fresh-baked breads, pastries, cakes, coffee, tea and boba drinks.
Founded in Taiwan in 2003, the company entered the U.S. market in 2008. The Aurora store, at 2767 S. Parker Road, will offer giveaways all weekend, including gift cards, T-shirts, and more.
One of its beverages, the Sea Salt Cream Vietnamese Iced Coffee, because of its highly caffeinated punch, the thick salty-sweet foam, and because it is aesthetically pleasing.
Aside from the coffee, 85°C is known for its Milk Pudding Bread, Choco Bun, Marble Taro and Egg Tart. Cakes include Mango Crème Brûlée and Deluxe Strawberry Cream.
One of the company’s primary rivals is a South Korean bakery chain called Paris Baguette, which has Colorado locations in Aurora, Parker and Colorado Springs.
