Crüe Fest is all about big, stupid fun. Few people are heading to Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on Tuesday for anything but a giant hair-metal party, and fest curators Mötley Crüe know that (witness the tour tagline of “The White Trash Circus”). In addition to the peddlers of “Dr. Feelgood” and “Smokin’ in the Boys’ Room,” the fest features music from fellow party rockers Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool and Charm City Devils. The tour has been widely embraced as an antidote to self-important rock fests, and our bet is that you’ll feel the same. Be there or be sober. $29.50-$95. Ticketmaster
Jason Lytle is better known as the leader of soft-rock weirdos Grandaddy than as a solo artist, but the latter is his lot these days. “Yours Truly, the Commuter” dropped in May, which means fans are still getting used to the idea of Lytle as a one-man band — though that isn’t too much of a stretch. The disc drips with the sort of patient, acoustic-driven melodies and pastoral imagery the indie hero is known for. He plays Monday at the Bluebird Theater with ubiquitous Denver songwriter Mike Marchant. $13.25. Ticketmaster
