Brendan Mundorf contributed three goals and four points to the Denver Outlaws’ 13-9 victory over the Long Island Lizards in New York on Saturday.

Brian Langtry and Drew Westervelt each had three points for the Outlaws, who have won three of their last four games and clinched the No. 1 seed for the Major League Lacrosse playoffs, which start Aug. 22.

The game was tied 6-6 at halftime, but the Outlaws (9-2) seized control with a 5-1 advantage in the third period. All five goals were unassisted, including a two-pointer by Langtry.

The Outlaws finished 2-for-2 on the power play, with Westervelt scoring both goals.
