Blake Schlueter and Tom Brandstater missed two center-to-quarterback exchanges, costing each rookie a lap around the practice field. However, the entire scout team defense had to take a lap later in the workout when there were only 10 players on the field before a play in an offensive period. Defensive assistant Jay Rodgers, who was coordinating the “show” team at the time, also had to take a lap with the players.
