It seems as if any day would be a great time to get a hole-in-one, but there are limits. Dale Youngern, 89, found that out when he made his first hole-in-one in 29 years. “It was ladies day, and they like to play bridge in East Grand Forks,” Youngern told the Grand Forks (N.D.) Herald after his fourth lifetime ace. “The bridge room is right next to the bar, so pretty soon, all of the old gals were coming over to the bar, and they wanted to get some refills on me. I thought it was kind of funny. It must have cost me $89 to get out of there.” The Seattle Times
