A 44-year-old man has a court appearance in Denver this week on charges that he broke into a home and rifled through a woman’s underwear drawer.
Juan Cerezo-Flores, 44, has been charged with second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal trespass by Denver prosecutors.
Cerezo-Flores is the suspect in an incident that happened in east Denver on July 24, according to a media release from the Denver district attorney’s office.
A woman came home and noticed lights on in her home that should have been off, the release said. The victim and a family member called police, and while waiting for officers, they saw someone climb out of a bedroom window and flee.
Police arrested Cerezo-Flores nearby, and inside the home, investigators found that drawers had been opened and undergarments had been piled on a bed.
Cerezo-Flores is free on a $5,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Denver County Court on Friday.
