The body of a 36-year-old Grand Junction man pulled from the Gunnison River has been identified by authorities.
Bradley Dial drowned and died of asphyxia, according to the Mesa County Coroner’s Office.
Dial disappeared at about 4 p.m. Tuesday while swimming with friends, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
His body was found by divers just below the roller dam of the Gunnison River, about a half-mile south of where the Gunnison and Colorado rivers meet.
The death was classified as an accident.
