The Dodgers denied they were promoting gluttony when they opened the all-you-can-eat pavilion in right field two seasons ago. Now, they appear to be embracing it. The club will not only give away a free Dodger Dog to every fan in attendance for their game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sept. 14, but will also host a hot-dog eating contest. Fans who can wolf down 10 hot dogs the fastest will be rewarded with seat upgrades and passes to take batting practice on the field. Los Angeles Times
