The dirty-minded crew from the Boulder Muddy Buddy is looking for partners in grime for Sunday’s 6-mile run/bike/obstacle race at Boulder Reservoir.
Teams of two swap out mountain biking and running duties with five oddball obstacles roughly every mile.
Mystery events may include a cargo net crawl, a wall climb, inflatable slides and a balance beam. The only guarantee is that teams will have to conquer the famous Mud Pit before crossing the finish line together.
Race divisions include male, female, coed and “beast” (team combined weight over 400 pounds) in combined age divisions spanning from 45 and younger up to the masters division of 96 and older. There also is a costume contest and a prerace party sponsored by Redhook on Saturday.
