Denver police today announced an arrest in connection with a stabbing death on a sidewalk on West Alameda Avenue early Sunday.
Rueben Payan-Sigala, 28, was arrested Monday and faces a charge of first-degree murder. He is accused of stabbing a 42-year-old man in the chest at 3420 West Alameda Ave.
The man died at Denver Health Medical Center.
His name has not yet been identified, pending information from the Denver’s coroner’s office, police said.
The relationship between the two men also was not released Tuesday.
