A 30-year-old Avon man was arrested Monday after authorities found marijuana in his mountain apartment, police said.
Diego Alvarez faces possible charges of felony cultivation of marijuana and felony possession of more than 8 ounces of marijuana, according to a media release from the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.
Eight “mature” plants, harvested pot and grow lights were seized Monday from Alvarez’s home in the Buffalo Ridge apartment complex, the Sheriff’s Office said.
He is being held at the Eagle County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail.
The Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip leading to the arrest.
