COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police say they went to the aid of an assault victim who had sent a text message to a friend pleading, “Help me.”
Police say the woman had been choked and had other injuries when they arrived at her house Tuesday night after they were alerted by the woman’s friend.
Police were searching for the alleged assailant, whom they identified as the woman’s boyfriend.
The woman was taken to a hospital, but her condition wasn’t available. No names have been released.
