Getting your player ready...
LINCOLN, Neb.—The Big 12 volleyball coaches have picked Nebraska to finish second to Texas this season, and three Cornhusker players have been named to the preseason all-conference team.
Nebraska and Texas shared the conference title last season, and both made it to the national semifinals. The Longhorns received eight of 11 first-place votes. The other three went to Nebraska.
Setter Sydney Anderson and middle blocker Kori Cooper were unanimous picks to the All-Big 12 team. Outside hitter Tara Mueller also was named to the squad.
All three are returning first-team all-conference picks from a year ago.
