A man turned himself in to police Thursday, hours after Philadelphia Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino filed a police report about getting doused with beer at Wrigley Field. Victorino was hit by a cup of beer thrown from the bleachers Wednesday night while trying to catch a flyball in the Phillies’ 12-5 win over the Chicago Cubs. “I just want to make sure that guy gets what’s due,” said Victorino, who managed to make the grab. “I think he needs to be held accountable.” Apparently, so do the authorities, charging 21-year-old college student Johnny Macchione with one count of battery and one count of illegal conduct within a sports facility.
