A semi truck has gone into the north fork of the South Platte River just south of Bailey, taking out power lines across U.S. 285.
Trooper David Hall said the truck driver suffered minor injuries.
At 3:20 p.m., road crews had been able to open lanes in both directions. Crews had earlier spent more than two hours clearing the power lines from the road which was closed both directions during that time.
Hall said no fuel from the semi spilled into the river.
The accident happened about 1 p.m.
