GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—President Barack Obama is participating in a town hall meeting on health care reform in Grand Junction.

The president told the crowd that anyone who has health insurance would be able to keep it and that he doesn’t want government bureaucrats meddling in their health care. He then added he didn’t want insurance company bureaucrats meddling in people’s health care either, drawing a standing ovation from the crowd.

He praised Grand Junction for working to lower health care costs by using incentives.

Democrats say the city is a model for community health care. But opponents to the health overhaul say the town is proof that doctors can lower costs and improve care without government involvement.
