After vandals stole the panels painted during last year’s Mural Jam, city officials are asking graffiti artists to paint directly on the park bowls. Bring your own spray paint and other art supplies.

The late spring rains and summer thunderstorms pleased mushroom fans, who anticipate a bumper crop of boletus edulis, which pops up in the high country in August and September. The fees ($80 for Buena Vista, $125 for Telluride) include guided foraging trips and seminars on identifying and storing mushrooms.
