LINCOLN, Neb.—Nebraska focused on specific game situations during its 2 1/2-hour practice at the Hawks Championship Center.
The Wednesday morning practice started outdoors but moved inside because of rain.
Coach Bo Pelini said the team worked on goal-line, first-down and third-down situations.
Pelini said he’s looking for perseverance and toughness from his players this week as preseason practice nears the midway point.
The team was scheduled to practice in the afternoon.
