See everything from such exotic hybrids as Chance, a chocolate Ocicat, to non-pedigreed household pets at this exhibit co-sponsored by the MetroPlex Allbreed Cat Club and the Wild Blue Yonder Cat Fanciers. Twelve judges evaluate the purebred and Heinz 57 competitions.

What’s your story?
The Working With Artists photography school and gallery invites submissions for its upcoming “Identity” exhibit. Submissions can range from childhood photos or restaged childhood photos to images that define yourself in a single image. The exhibit opens Sept. 18.

Planting ideas.
Every August, Boulder’s Parks and Recreation Department gives away 300 to 400 bags of tulip bulbs from its spring display. The variety and color of tulips, imported directly from Holland, changes annually.
