The body of a woman found burned in a Lakewood home has been identified as Jenine Cuellar.
The Lakewood Police Department released the identity and said it is investigating the case as a homicide.
The body of Cuellar, 49, was found in her home about 9 p.m. Tuesday along with the body of a still- unidentified man, said Sgt. Mark Reeves, a police department spokesman.
The bodies were found as firefighters put out a fire at 6770 W. 14th Ave. There were no other fatalities or injuries in the fire.
Neighbors said they heard Cuellar arguing with a man before the fire started.
The West Metro Fire Protection District and police have not released the cause of the fire.
Police said both bodies were badly burned.
Investigators have not determined whether the case is a double homicide, a case of murder and suicide, or an accidental fire, Reeves said.
