“I’m a cancer survivor. I didn’t have insurance then; I went on CICP (the Colorado Indigent Care Program). I think it would be good if Obama can get something implemented that would help people, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.
“What I think needs to happen is people need to realize that whatever affects one of us affects us all. Most people, if it doesn’t affect them, they don’t care.
“I’m in remission now, but I still owe some money. I pray a lot. I’m not doing too bad. I feel like ultimately it’ll be all right.”
