ASPEN — Aspen schools are a little embarrassed after a high school English teacher noticed a grammar typo in the school district’s mission statement.
The mission statement was missing a verb. It read, “Students will realize their full potential, appreciate the relevance of their education, be excited to learn, and empowered for success.” The last clause needed the word “be.”
