Police and medical examiners released no new information today about a woman whose body was found in the trunk of a car in the Baker neighborhood Wednesday night.
An autopsy was performed today, said Denver police spokeswoman Vicki Ferrari. The coroner’s office is expected to release the woman’s name and cause of death pending notification of next of kin.
Denver police received a call about a “suspicious vehicle” parked near Eighth Avenue and Navajo Street at about 7:20 p.m. Wednesday and found the woman’s body in the trunk.
