DENVER—Police are trying to determine if 14 assaults and robberies reported in the central part of Denver are connected.
Police say the crimes occurred between July 30 and Aug. 30, mostly between 10 p.m. and 2:30 a.m.
The area they happened is west of Downing Street to the South Platte River and between 13th and 30th avenues.
In each case, a lone man was walking when he was attacked by several suspects. Police believe three more assaults in downtown Denver might have occurred but weren’t reported.
