A federal mediator will try to help broker a deal between Boulder teachers and the Boulder Valley School District when the two sides return to the negotiation table Sept. 17-18, according to a release Thursday.
The two sides are at odds over a labor contract for teachers for the 2009-10 school year.
During mediation, a third party will facilitate the discussion between the teachers and the district.
