Denverites know we have it good. Our music scene is a bustling, crowded, constantly surprising one that, despite the occasional in-fighting and name-calling, only gets stronger the more we discuss, debate and pay attention to it. Now the attendees of the annual , a sort of smaller that takes place in New York every fall, are getting a chance to sample some of our best rock acts and see just how good we have it here.
We just got word from — an international website connecting bands with gigs — that three Denver acts who submitted their wares have been accepted to play the high-profile festival, which produces a reliable buzz around its best-received acts. Come Oct. 20, , and will be heading to the Big Apple to charm the pants off the hipster music crowd.
