We’re going to the Hall of Fame.
That’s right, and we don’t even have to retire or wait five years.
Youth Excellence in Sports and the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame have agreed to a partnership that will strive to promote the Hall’s mission statement:
“To honor, by public acknowledgment or commemoration, those individuals who merit recognition and distinction for their exploits, accomplishments and leadership in sports and athletic endeavors . . . (and) to cultivate character and citizenship as they grow toward leadership in our state and throughout the nation.”
Monthly winners of YES! will have their pictures displayed at the Hall, which is located inside Invesco Field at Mile High, and will receive four tickets to tour the museum and stadium as well as four tickets to “Championship Saturday” — the Class 4A and Class 5A football title games at Invesco Field on Dec. 5.
Additionally, the yearly winner will receive four tickets to the Hall of Fame’s annual induction banquet in April.
