Authorities on Monday located an 83-year-old Eaton woman who disappeared Saturday on her way to visit a hospitalized relative.
Basilisa Ayala, in the early stages of dementia, never arrived at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
A farmer found Ayala’s car in rural Washington County and alerted authorities on Monday. She was found by them a short time later about half a mile from the vehicle. She was suffering from dehydration but appeared to have suffered no serious injuries.
