Not everyone was taken aback when Oregon tailback LeGarrette Blount sucker-punched an opponent in the aftermath of Thursday night’s loss at Boise State. “The kid threw a great punch,” boxing promoter Bob Arum told the Los Angeles Times. “I’d support the kid for six months in the amateurs; he knows how to throw a punch. He’d need work, though. Unlike the Boise defensive player, the guys (Blount) would be stepping into the ring against would be looking for the punch. . . . Tell him to call me.”
