Aurora police said nine burglaries at nail, hair or tanning salons Sunday and Monday were probably connected.
The thieves checked cash drawers but got away with little, if anything, of value, police said. The greatest loss to the businesses was the damage done during the break-ins, police said in a statement.
The businesses robbed between 9 p.m. Sunday and 4 a.m. Monday were: Daisy Nail Salon and Hair Color Xpert on South Parker Road; All Star Nails and After Effects Hair Salon on South Chambers Road; Aurora Nails and Hair and BMT Hair and Nails on East Mississippi Avenue; RM Nails and Colorado Nails on South Buckley Road; and East Hampden Tanning Salon on East Hampden Avenue.
Aurora police are offering a reward of up to $750 for information leading to charges against a suspect or suspects. Anyone with information can call 303-627-3100 or 303-627-3152.
