A member of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and two civilian workers face possible criminal charges for allegedly eavesdropping on co-workers’ phone calls.
The Sheriff’s Office said Friday that three Arapahoe County Detention Center employees have been suspended with pay and benefits.
The Sheriff’s Office said it has presented to the district attorney potential felony charges of prohibited wiretapping and eavesdropping. Penalties for these charges include up to 18 months in prison and up to $100,000 in fines. Jordan Steffen, The Denver Post
